  • Afternoon: Depart at 2:00 PM from the Hyatt Regency Hotel (400 New Jersey Ave NW, 2½ blocks from Union Station Metro) and visit Mount Vernon, the historic estate of George Washington. Spend over two hours exploring the mansion, grounds, and museum, including access to George and Martha Washington’s tomb.

  • Old Alexandria: Pass through Old Alexandria along the scenic George Washington Memorial Parkway, seeing historic sites including the Boyhood Home of Robert E. Lee, Christ Church, and the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.

  • Night-Time Washington, D.C.: Return to D.C. around 7:30 PM for a guided evening bus tour. See illuminated landmarks, stop for photos at 8 top attractions including the White House, U.S. Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Nurses Memorial.
