About this Event
Introduction to Horses Package
Welcome to our four-week course designed for novice riders aged 10 and up! Build a strong foundation in horsemanship and riding, with each session crafted to set you up for success and ignite your passion for horses.
Lesson Overview:

Lesson 1: Learn essential skills such as haltering, leading, reading horse body language, and grooming.

Lesson 2: Practice haltering, leading, and grooming hands-on, while exploring different types of tack and horse equipment.

Lesson 3: Master tacking up your horse, mounting and dismounting safely, and caring for your equipment after each ride.

Lesson 4: Refine your skills with tacking and untacking, practice equitation basics—including body position, steering, and speed cues.

Course Details:

Schedule: Classes held once a week on Mondays at 6 PM, Thursdays at 4 PM, or Fridays at 10 AM.

Holiday Closures (2025): January 1, August 1–5, Thanksgiving Day, December 25 & 31.

Accelerated Option: Take two lessons per week (8 lessons total in 4 weeks) to maximize practice, gain more time in the saddle, and achieve your equestrian goals faster.
